Booked hotel 5.5 months ago and confirmed prior to arrival. Got to hotel to find out that our room was given away. We were told the hotel was at capacity. Everything in the area was booked for the night. Avoiding ALL DoubleTree and Hilton hotels in the future. Management made no attempt at helping us out or offering anything for future visits.

The staff was so nice and professional. I loved it, but I do have to add one caveat...the food at the restaurant was really bland..great for people with stomach issues, but not so much for me. Almost like the airplane food on the way to the Netherlands. Other than that I have no complaints. Overall a wonderful stay.

I got to Pittsburgh last night and chose this hotel. The rooms are decent and the staff was friendly but this place is a money trap. They don’t offer vending machines with snacks so you have to use their over priced Starbucks Bistro or overpriced restaurant. They offer normal patrons absolutely no morning breakfast unless you purchased a package or are a gold member (whatever that means). I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget. You can get a room this nice at a holiday inn express with breakfast and all the amenities this place does for about the same cost. I don’t like getting gouged under the guise of luxury. It’s not luxurious just less convenient and more expensive.

Very nice hotel. Good bar area. We did not eat at the hotel. Rooms were clean. Location is not great as far as walking to local places to eat, etc. It is a 10-15 minute shuttle to downtown from here.

The hotel has average rooms and average pool, nothing special. The cons: when we called on our drive in to ask a few questions we were hung up on. When we got to our first room it wasn’t clean. The fridge had stuff in it from the previous people and there were empty pop bottles. The other reviews of extension cords and no outlets are true as well. The second day when we returned from a day out our air conditioner was broken. Called at 6pm to get it fix and was told they’d let maintenance know. Called at 7 and was told they were all in a meeting and could not be disturbed. Then I called back at 8 and asked if they could get them out of the meeting. Finally spoke with a different person who actually helped. We got into a different room at 9:30. Never mind my little kids had to be displaced. The food is over priced and bland. Would just go elsewhere for the food. Lastly. The pool this morning was gross. It obvious was not cleaned last night. My family got there at 7am and found hair and other things in the pool. I spent 20 minutes cleaning it before swimming. Overall I’d go elsewhere if thinking of staying here. They did say they were going to give us Hilton points and some credit towards the Resturant but enough is enough. Will not be back. Waiting to see if the General Manager will contact me like I asked.
